What is worrying is; TWBC has not consulted the businesses in Cranbrook. There is no doubt that footfall will drop and income will be devastated. Also those businesses with many staff will be severely disadvantaged and so even more out of pocket.

The introduction of car parking charges will certainly hasten TWBC's plan to turn Cranbrook into a ghost town, with no shops or services, estates and side roads jammed full of abandoned cars whose drivers cannot afford the new "Cranbrook Tax". Only the army of traffic wardens required to keep the locals in their place would be seen patrolling the open velt of the Regal car-less park. If we all shout loud enough at the same time, maybe, just maybe someone might hear?
